Teen Challenge started in 1958 in Brooklyn, New York by Rev. David Wilkerson. He began with gangs and then those addicted to drugs. He called his brother Don to pioneer the work in Brooklyn. Brother Don has served for over 55 years and after pioneering Global Teen Challenge returned to the flagship Center to direct Brooklyn Teen Challenge
